Abstract

Article submitted to the Pakistan Journal of Health Sciences has been retracted due to several serious mentioned by JSE:

1.    Failure to Request Permission: No prior permission was obtained from Thomas Jefferson University for the use of the Jefferson Scale of Empathy (JSE).
2.    Misrepresentation of Scale Version: The HP-version of the JSE was used, but the article claims the S-version was applied.
3.    Alteration of Scoring Scale: The 7-point Likert scale was changed to a 5-point scale, making the results incomparable to other studies.
4.    Unclear Scoring and Missing Data Handling.
5.    Unauthorized Modifications: The wording of items was changed without permission.

These issues compromise the study’s integrity, therefore PJHS decision committee is to retract your article.
